I feel like I’m constantly becoming lazy. I don’t enjoy playing, reading. I just lie around all day with a mobile phone in my hand, being lazy. But how do I overcome laziness? I want to change myself, but can’t find any way.

If your problem is like this, then today’s discussion is for you. Today we will discuss what laziness actually means.
Is it a genetic thing? Or just a trick of the brain. Then we will discuss how to get rid of laziness.
These methods are very simple but very beneficial. So let’s get started. What does laziness actually mean? When our ancestors lived, they had no certainty in their lives.
Because they didn’t know if death would come while hunting animals.
Also, they were uncertain how they would survive the day after eating. So, they used laziness to conserve energy.
So that there is no lack of energy later. So they were active 20% of the time and lazy 80% of the time. As their descendants, we still spend our days lazily.
Our brains have become factories of laziness. We are also 80-20% lazy and active. In some cases it is above 90%.
How Does Laziness Actually Work?
First, you have to know how the laziness system works. DOPamine hormone is released from our brain. This hormone gives us the will to work. It is also called the reward circuit.
When we play video games, do we get bored? Then we keep playing the game with more enthusiasm.
But what happens when we go to read a book? It seems like 1 hour has passed in just 10 minutes of reading a book.
But why does this happen? When we scroll through Facebook or play games, the reward circuit in our brain is activated.
This is because we constantly gain new enjoyment and experiences from these activities. We frequently receive rewards, which cause the brain to release the DOPamine hormone. As a result, we continuously feel pleasure and our addiction to that activity increases.

It is for this very reason that our desire to study increases before exams. Because, then, the subconscious mind signals us that if we don’t study, we will fail, and if we study, we will get good results.
This stimulates a kind of reward circuit. Now the question arises: How can we overcome laziness? If we can utilize the reward circuit system of our brain for our benefit instead of harm, then it is possible to overcome laziness.
We have to prevent the reward circuit from harming us. At the same time, we have to use them for our benefit. If we can do this, the foundation of our laziness will be removed to a great extent.
Although there are many ways to do this, most of them are not practical. That is, ordinary people like us cannot follow these methods. But there are only about 20% of the ways that are easy to follow. Today, we will mainly discuss these easy ways.
Idea Number 1: Leave Bed

The things we do are mainly controlled by the subconscious mind. That is, we don’t need to think about doing them. We do them suddenly.
Now, if you spend most of your time lying in bed, the brain starts to signal that it’s time to sleep. As a result, our subconscious mind faces confusion and starts giving sleep signals. So we feel lazy all day.
Therefore, a new habit has to be formed. Never go to bed in the morning after waking up and before going to sleep. If possible, avoid the sofa as well. Don’t sit in any comfortable place that is related to sleep.
In simple words, stay away from places where the brain gives sleep signals.
Idea Number 2: Exercise

Laziness can be divided into two parts: physical and mental. But it is not possible to get rid of mental laziness before getting rid of physical laziness.
Exercise can be the best way to solve this problem. You will notice some people who are addicted to exercise. They don’t feel good if they don’t exercise for a day.
Food, sex, and exercise. These 3 things have a lot of reward circuit systems or DOPamine secretion.
People become more addicted to the things they show more interest in. The human body needs exercising. It can make us addicted.
If you can connect the reward circuit system with exercise once, your work will be done. Laziness will be removed, and you will get the energy to work.
Idea Number 3: Reward Yourself

Our real purpose is to utilize the reward circuit. Now the question is, how can this reward circuit be utilized?
For a task that is good and important for you, but you are procrastinating, you need to reward yourself for releasing the DOPamine hormone in your brain. For example: Suppose you love to eat burgers.
Then you can influence dopamine through food. You can encourage yourself by rewarding yourself like this: “If I can finish 1 chapter within the next two days, I will buy and eat my favorite burger item”.
When you do this, the reward circuit system inside you will become active, and you will be focused on studying.
You can reward yourself by adopting any other method. It’s your choice. This is a very enjoyable and easy method. You just have to maintain discipline and keep your commitment.
Idea Number 4: Do It With Joy

You feel more lazy doing tasks that you don’t get inspired to do from the heart. In this case, one way is not to do the work if you are not interested in it.
But this is not always possible. Because if you are a student and not interested in studying, you still have to study to a minimum level.
There are some special tasks or situations that cannot be avoided. In these cases, we have to follow a special method.
In this case, you have to find some ways to create interest in doing the work from the heart. The reward system had already been discussed at the beginning.
But more ways have to be found. For example: someone doesn’t like to read but likes to listen.
So, instead of reading books, they can listen to audio! When we get interest from the heart, laziness decreases a lot.
A great person said, “Everything is easy when you are crazy. Nothing is easy when you are lazy”.
Follow these four ideas and jump to achieving your goal from tomorrow. You can do this by following any one of these 4 methods.
It’s your wish. If you see changes in yourself, then our efforts are successful. Have a good journey.
